Description
The hybrid air heater QSG 6+20 consists of a heat pump of 6 kW and an inside unit with water coil, an axial fan and a gas fired booster of 20 kW. The water coil with modulating EC fan are the heat release system for the heat pump. The booster is a condensing gas fired air heater with high efficiency which is activated when the heat pump does not supply enough heat to reach the set room temperature.
At the front of the heater a discharge grill with adjustable louvres takes care of an even air distribution in the room. Preferably, complemented with destratification fans.
During the summer the QSG can be set in a comfortable cooling mode.
Efficient energy management
The Smart Controller controls both the heat pump and the indoor unit based on the measured room temperature and determines when the booster should jump in. By choosing, this can be done partly on the basis of the user's programmed gas- and electricity rates. The QSG can also be connected to a building management system so that the user can monitor the performance of the system and improve it even more.
